Faurecia has donated 100,000 surgical masks to the Civil Hospitals of Colmar in Eastern France, an area particularly affected by the coronavirus, while Valeo has also made a similar gesture.
Faurecia decided to focus its support on Eastern France, where it operates several industrial and R&D sites.

"Given the current health situation in our country, Faurecia and all its employees wanted to show national solidarity and support the unprecedented efforts of hospital staff," said Faurecia CEO, Patrick Koller.
