Sustainable procurement is now an accepted part of doing business for the world’s leading companies, with multinational giants like Unilever, Goodyear and Microsoft taking increasingly ambitious strides to integrate sustainability throughout their complex and far-reaching supply chains. Since 2007, our Sustainable Procurement Barometer has tapped into our extensive network to gauge how companies across a range of industries and geographies are approaching procurement. For years, most of the responses we received were from Global 500 companies. However, our Sustainable Procurement Barometer 2021 – launched in partnership with Stanford’s Value Chain Innovation Initiative –  tells a very different story.
