Ras Al Khaimah launches green procurement guidelines

The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has launched green procurement guidelines designed to bring environmental and economic benefits.

The Green Procurement Program (GPP) guidelines aim to cut energy consumption, water use, and greenhouse gas emissions associated with the government’s purchase of goods and services, as well as develop local suppliers.
