Wrangler outlines new sustainability targets

US denim brand Wrangler has announced new sustainability targets via the launch of its ‘WeCare Wrangler’ platform.

The sustainability platform has been established to underline the company’s commitment to protecting the environment and its workers, which it’s tasked itself with doing through new time-bound targets on materials, chemicals, water and energy.

Global brand president, Tom Waldron, commented: Our process for creating apparel that consumers are passionate about starts with respect for both for the planet and the people who call it home. The WeCare Wrangler sustainability platform will act as our roadmap as we help lead the industry toward meaningful change that creates more positive environmental and social impacts.”
