Insights From Global Supply Chain Ratings – 2016-2020

In its fifth edition, the Sustainability Risk and Performance Index: Insights from Global Supply Chain Ratings examines the sustainability performance of more than 46,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis during the period 2016-2020 and provides critical insights into sustainability trends across diverse regions and industries.

Delving into an unrivalled, comprehensive dataset comprising in excess of 72,000 ratings, the report incorporates an analysis of sustainability performance by:

  • Theme - Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement
  • Region -  Europe, North America, Latin America, China, Africa/Middle East/Asia (excluding China). For the first time, this year’s Index also incorporates the OECD and the 27 EU Member States as distinct analytical groupings, thus generating additional, comparative insights in the wake of Brexit.
  • Industry Division - Food and Beverage; Advanced Manufacturing; Light Manufacturing; Heavy Manufacturing; Construction; Wholesale, Services and Professionals; Transport; ICT; and Finance, Legal and Consulting

Plus, following the unprecedented disruption to global supply chains affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Index takes a closer look at the Sustainable Procurement theme in a special Deep Dive investigation into supply chain management.
