Participating in the EcoVadis sustainability rating for the first time, Salzgitter AG achieved a score of 55/100 and was awarded a bronze medal. With these results, the company has outperformed the industry average in all four assessment categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Commenting on this positive result, CEO Gunnar Groebler views this achievement above all as a positive incentive for the future: "When addressing sustainability, it is important to document and evaluate measures transparently, both for our partners, customers and investors, but also for ourselves.
