NEW YORK & PARIS – 18 JUNE 2026 – EcoVadis, the global standard for resilient, sustainable supply chains, announced a new strategic partnership agreement with SOMPO Risk Management Inc. following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in October 2025.
The partnership aims to support Japanese companies in enhancing supply chain risk management and supplier engagement, thereby improving their competitiveness in the global market.
Under this agreement, SOMPO Risk will serve as a regional consulting partner of EcoVadis, using its risk intelligence and sustainability ratings to provide:

Enhanced supplier engagement through a framework deepening two-way dialogue between buyer and supplier companies, using the EcoVadis score as a starting point.
Through this partnership, both companies will support the establishment of a foundation for strengthening the supply chain resilience of Japanese companies. By combining globally recognized objective assessment standards with tailored support based on the characteristics of the Japanese market, they aim to assist the sustainable growth of Japanese companies and contribute to solving the societal challenge of supply chain strengthening.
