Driving ESG Ambitions in the Packaging Industry with EcoVadis

October 3, 2023

Packaging can account for up to 15% of purchases for large buying organizations, creating a significant impact on the environment. As more and more of these organizations seek to reduce their environmental footprint, they are turning to their value chains as a means to help. By choosing more sustainable materials, reducing the size and weight of packaging, and encouraging the reuse and recycling of packaging, these organizations are working to encourage their suppliers to find solutions to reduce their own footprint in turn.

As these requirements increase, suppliers may need additional support to help identify gaps in their own sustainability management policies and ways in which to improve.
