ESRS from Policy to Practice: Deep Dive into the Final Standards

On Friday 3 July, the European Commission adopted the final ESRS through a Delegated Act. If there is no objection from the European Parliament and the Council within the two-month scrutiny period, the Delegated Act will enter into force. 

With the final standards, companies now have certainty to start reporting with confidence on their sustainability impacts and opportunities. Companies outside the scope of CSRD reporting can use the Voluntary Standard, also adopted by the European Commission on the same day.
