Value Creation Through Sustainable Procurement: Air Liquide Case Study

October 23, 2019

Seeing its sustainable procurement policy as contributing to overall sustainability ambition and as a source of value creation, Air Liquide set out to assess 80% of sustainability-critical suppliers by 2020 with the goal of improving overall risk management by reducing supply chain risks (reputational risk, supply disruption risks).

Additionally, the company seeks to drive value creation through innovation, competitive differentiation and improved corporate image, using sustainable procurement strategies as the driving force.
