Covid-19 Community Efforts Led by EcoVadis Employees

July 2, 2020 EcoVadis EN

All over the world, organizations have massively mobilized to support people in need during the COVID-19 crisis.  States, NGOs and big and small companies as well as individuals have deployed dedicated actions according to their capacities, in an amazingly short time.

EcoVadis joined the efforts, with 8 offices launching local fundraising events, calling for employees' participation, with EcoVadis matching every contribution made by its employees.

In total, more than 13K€ was raised to support local organizations acting on the field:

  • A food caterer delivering meal boxes to hospitals in France

  • An NGO providing mask to elderlies in Hong Kong

  • The Food Bank in Poland

  • The Red Cross in Tunisia distributing meal boxes and hand sanitizers to people in need

  • Two NGOs in Mauritius distributing reusable face masks and food packs to families in need

  • The Hand up for Kids initiative in Toronto to help provide healthy meals to low income households with children and vulnerable youths in need

  • Emergency food delivery to elderly and homebound New Yorkers in isolation

  • The Food Bank in Spain

  • The Single Mother Forum, an Organization that has been helping single parents through the distribution of food packs during this COVID-19 crisis

The sense of community and solidarity is probably the most beautiful take away we will remember from this crisis. EcoVadis is determined to continue its actions toward communities, including philanthropy & volunteering.
