"Because sustainability is so broadly defined, it's very difficult to find a narrow set of metrics to provide really precise information to our business. It's also really difficult to rank suppliers against each other, or to say one supplier is more sustainable than another. And it leads to a lot of complexity in our implementation. So we need to have a very flexible approach to sustainability to ensure that all of our suppliers can be included and our program can grow."
