NEW YORK & PARIS – June 5, 2025– EcoVadis, the global standard for resilient, sustainable supply chains, has once again confirmed its position among the leading tech companies in France by joining the sixth 2025 class of the French Tech Next40 program for the third consecutive year.

Launched in 2019 by Mission French Tech, the French Tech Next40/120 is a government-led program designed to support the 120 most promising French scale-ups with the potential to become global technology leaders.

Each year, companies are selected according to transparent, objective criteria — half based on revenue performance and half on fundraising achievements. For a period of one year, they benefit from bespoke and collective support coordinated by Mission French Tech, with a particular focus on addressing their development challenges both in France and internationally.

Exceptional financial and CSR performance

Selection is based on objective indicators aimed at assessing a company’s growth potential through two key measures: customer trust, as reflected in revenue growth, and investor trust, as demonstrated by fundraising results. This year, performance criteria included:

  • Strong growth in turnover: At least 100 million euros in net sales in the last financial year, and at least 15% annual growth over 3 years;

  • Investor confidence: Highest cumulative fundraising between January 2022 and April 2025.

Participation in the French Tech Next40/120 program grants winning companies access to a comprehensive range of services coordinated by Mission French Tech and its network of partners, designed to facilitate the growth and international development of laureates.

Within this framework, the French Tech Next40/120 program provides laureates with:

  • Tailored support and guidance from a dedicated start-up manager, addressing their strategic priorities throughout the year;

  • Assistance from public partners in France and abroad (ministries, public services, diplomatic networks) and access to the French Tech Correspondents for support in areas such as talent acquisition, intellectual property, compliance with standards, customs and taxation, international expansion, and access to public funding;

  • Enhanced visibility at major international events, opportunities within French Tech Capitals and Communities, and integration into France’s economic diplomacy initiatives;

  • Facilitated connections with major public and private sector stakeholders through the “Je choisis la French Tech” initiative;

  • Peer-to-peer learning opportunities and regular engagements with key decision-makers.

An ever-increasing international influence

The 2025 French Tech Next40/120 class illustrates the growing impact of French scale-ups internationally. More than 93% companies have a significant commercial presence outside France, with export turnover representing 35% — and even more than 50% for a quarter of the winners.

Active in sectors as varied as AI, GreenTech, FinTech, cybersecurity and quantum, these 120 employ more than 40,000 people worldwide. The United States, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and Japan are among the priority markets.

A new promotion in the service of technological sovereignty

At the same time, deep tech and artificial intelligence are establishing themselves as pillars of French innovation. Nearly a quarter of the new cohort operates in these strategic fields. France ranks fourth worldwide for deep tech and leads the EU in funding, particularly in generative AI.

More than a third of the winners integrate AI into the heart of their economic model, strengthening European digital sovereignty and France's technological competitiveness on a global scale.
