Business Sustainability Index 7th Edition

June 29, 2023 EcoVadis EN

In its seventh edition, the EcoVadis Index provides insights from the sustainability ratings of more than 62,000 companies assessed between 2018 and 2022. Based on data from over 100,000 assessments, this summary report showcases that companies across sizes, industries and regions have been consistently improving on our core sustainability themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

One of the virtues of our volume is that it provides a more nuanced picture of how a change takes place in practice – as the EcoVadis network scales up, we see how more and more companies move from de-risking to Advanced performance. Not all companies have the same capacity to simultaneously integrate an environmental, social and governance lens into their businesses, however.

Which companies are more likely to be on the top end, and which are likely to be low performers? Read on or learn more at Index Online.
