Investment fund to back firms spearheading sustainability

One Planet Capital, an investment house established last year to champion sustainable innovation, has launched a new Sustainable Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), through which companies across industries such as fashion, agriculture and transport can benefit from financial support.  

The fund has been divided into three interrelated areas, addressing climate change, the environment and consumer sustainability. Prospective recipients must demonstrate that their actions, whether this be in the form of a breakthrough technology or ongoing project, can reap consistent sustainability benefits. 

“Unprecedented change is required to our global economy. We are on the verge of a green industrial revolution and the world is waking up to the substantial changes needed to tackle the climate issues we face,” said One Planet Capital’s co-founder, Matthew Jellicoe. “We only have one planet and now it’s time to get involved and make a difference for our collective future.”
