Italian luxury chocolate manufacturer Venchi says its Easter 2022 collection is accompanied by a more sustainable initiative, with all its wrappers and ribbons made from recycled PET, FSC-certified paper, cotton-blend fabric.
Combining fun and environmentally-friendly packaging with premium chocolate, Venchi said by carefully analysing every aspect of its new line for the best solutions on the market in terms of sustainability, it has created an Easter collection with materials that enhance the aesthetic and quality of its wrapping without harming the environment.

All packaging and wrappers in its Easter 2022 collection are made from recycled PET (min. 70%), cotton-blend fabric or FSC-certified paper. The egg cases are made from 70-100% recycled PET. Polyester ribbons have been replaced by cotton and paper, 90% of the surprises are contained in small bags and the egg wrapping is made from aluminium.

As a result, Venchi said it was able to reduce its consumption of virgin plastic by 6 tonnes compared to 2021.

Venchi’s 2022 Easter collection is available in all the boutiques in London: Covent Garden, Exhibition Road, King’s Road, Hampstead, Richmond and Harrods. It can also be found at wholesalers Selfridges, Eataly, Fenwick and online.
