As we observe the rapidly accelerating impacts of the coronavirus (covid-19) on the health, wellbeing and livelihoods of families, businesses and communities worldwide, we extend our heartfelt wishes for healing and recovery to those impacted by this crisis.
The EcoVadis team would like to provide this update on our operations and actions during this extraordinary situation, in order to protect the health of our employees, and to ensure business continuity, service and support to our customers, rated companies and partners.
Assuring Business Continuity - Please be assured that you will continue to receive the same level of service from EcoVadis, with continued access to the EcoVadis platform as well as full engagement from our teams. We will continue to run our business full time.
- If you are a customer of our Enterprise solution (requesting scorecards of your suppliers), please note that our operations are running at full capacity and we are able to maintain your program as scheduled. Your Customer Success Manager and support staff remain available and committed to your success and can review and adjust your program plans as needed.
- For companies in the process of being rated by EcoVadis, we understand that it might be a challenging time to complete your assessment, and will extend timelines for completion as needed. Our EcoVadis Support Team remains online and available to help 24hrs x 5 days/week in more than 10 languages. If you are a small company who has recently received an invoice for completing the EcoVadis rating process, and your business is currently impacted by Coronavirus and having challenges to pay, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Minimizing in-person contact with virtual engagement - As you may be aware, we shifted our annual Sustain 2020 event to an entirely virtual event, which took place last Thursday March 12 (visit the On Demand event and recordings here). Wherever practical, we are taking a similar “virtual” approach to other aspects of our operations. In alignment with government orders in countries where we operate, all EcoVadis employees will be working from home. As this is a direct extension of our existing work-from-home policy and practice, we follow all the necessary data security protocols in compliance with our ISO27001 certification. This policy will remain in effect through the end of March and we will re-evaluate at that time. We are providing flexibility and support to employees working under constraints due to child care and other exceptional situations.
Limiting Travel EcoVadis management has instructed all employees to postpone all non-essential travel. We have asked that all business and customer meetings be conducted as virtual meetings via video-conference.
Implementing Healthy Practices. We are reminding employees of safe hygiene practices to do our part to minimize transmission.
We are closely monitoring guidance from government agencies and health authorities to ensure that our policies and practices keep our teams safe and healthy, and we are actively adjusting our policies accordingly. We will be sure to advise you of any meaningful changes.
These are unprecedented, challenging times for everyone. It is our hope that sustainable business practices have helped companies - at all levels of the value chain - to be better prepared to endure this crisis. We call on all companies to take this opportunity for leadership in sustainability, and to join us in doing what you can to do right by, wherever possible, all your stakeholders.
