The report integrates highlights from EcoVadis’ progress towards its Purpose objectives, Network Impact initiatives and internal Sustainability Programs

PARIS & NEW YORK – April 22, 2025 EcoVadis, the leading sustainability intelligence platform for global supply chains, today announces the publication of its second Purpose report, under France’s PACTE Law. The report showcases EcoVadis’ progress in achieving its Purpose over the course of 2024, as measured by the Objectives set at the beginning of the year, and assessed by the EcoVadis Purpose Committee made up of 60% independent members.

As a purpose-driven company, EcoVadis’ core principle is to guide all companies toward a sustainable world, ensuring growth contributes positively to the planet and society. From environmental degradation and extreme weather to food insecurity, water access, economic instability, and growing political division—the stakes have never been higher.

With most climate impacts existing in supply chains, procurement teams hold the key to change. Redirecting spend toward responsible suppliers doesn’t just mitigate risk—it fuels a Sustainable Growth Economy, where sustainability and economic progress reinforce each other. This report shows how EcoVadis has helped companies accelerate this transformation over the past year.

Today with 1,300+ active procurement organizations and 44,000+ buyers worldwide, €2.38 trillion in global procurement spend is covered by EcoVadis Ratings. Through targeted engagement of companies in setting carbon reduction targets and reporting on Living Wage, meaningful commitments have been achieved across EcoVadis’ network:

  • 13,000+ companies are reporting on carbon targets and

  • 10,000+ are reporting on living wages metrics

A major milestone was also achieved in 2024, with the acquisition of Ulula, a leading human rights technology and analytics company, resulting in the launch of a new EcoVadis Worker Voice solution, a set of cutting-edge tools that enables organizations to measure and address human rights risks—an essential pillar of sustainability.

EcoVadis also holds itself to the highest standards, ensuring internal practices reflect the same principles promoted across its network. Several achievements to report on include:

  • 92% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions, 57% in Scope 3;

  • 91% of power sourced from renewable energy;

  • All wages of EcoVadis employees above Living Wage indicators;

  • 63% of spent covered by EcoVadis Rating

The business case for sustainability is clear, and momentum is building. By equipping businesses with intelligence, insights, and tools, EcoVadis enables organizations to collaborate with suppliers, improve practices, enhance resilience, and generate net-positive outcomes for people and the planet.
