The French Tech For Good in the spotlight

This Thursday, journalist Sébastien Couasnon presented the winners of the second edition of the Tech For Good Awards. Since 2019, this ceremony aims to reward companies working to build a more responsible society, in six categories: environment, circular economy, citizen action, health, education and mobility. For each category, four finalists have been selected from among more than 400 French startups that responded to the call.

A total of six trophies were awarded to change agents during the evening, by a jury composed of Thierry Arnaud, Director of the Editorial Board of BFM BUSINESS, Frédéric Mazzella (Co-president of France Digitale & Founder of Blablacar), and Kat Borlongan (Director of La French Tech).

EcoVadis, an award-winning actor of citizen action

EcoVadis, the French independent platform for assessing and improving the CSR performance of companies, was awarded the Tech for Good Award in the "Citizen Action" category.

Frédéric Trinel, co-founder and Co-Chairman, presented the company's place in the Tech for Good sphere in the Tech&Co programme for BFM Business: "Since our creation, our main development driver has been the search for impact on global supply chains."

The award recognises the positive impact of this collaborative platform, which enables companies to assess the CSR and environmental performance of their suppliers worldwide on the basis of evidence, and thus reduce their CSR risks. This is an important sign of recognition for the company, whose ambition is to stimulate responsible actions by its 65,000 client companies, including very small businesses, SMEs, SMIs, ETIs and large companies.

"We are very proud to be trusted by the Tech for Good Awards as an expert on CSR issues. At EcoVadis, we believe that technology can help achieve a more sustainable, responsible growth. The "Citizen Action" award is a great reward for our efforts to strengthen our positive impact" Pierre-François Thaler co-founder and Co-Chairman
