NEW YORK and PARIS – August 3, 2016 – EcoVadis, the leading platform for corporate social responsibility (CSR) ratings for global supply chains, continues to rapidly expand its customer base and reach across the globe. Its Sustainable Procurement customers are requesting EcoVadis CSR assessment scorecards of their suppliers at a record run-rate, which surpassed 3000 in the month of May.
“More than 30 new customers have joined the EcoVadis network this year, which is a powerful indicator of the accelerating rate at which businesses are investing in supply chain sustainability,” said Pierre Francois Thaler, co-founder and co-CEO of EcoVadis. “By adopting a holistic, improvement-driven approach to sustainable procurement, our customers are not just excelling in operating socially-responsible supply chains, but they’re also driving revenue, protecting brand reputation and improving procurement performance.”
EcoVadis has experienced strong demand for its sustainable procurement platform and services all over the world. Among the 16 new multinational customers that joined the EcoVadis sustainable procurement community this year: two top-ten European telecom operators, a top-15 pharmaceutical player, a top-five auto maker, and a global packaging leader. EcoVadis has also signed 14 new customers for the EcoVadis Corporate Group Manager subscription, which enables groups to centralize and manage assessments and scorecard sharing requests across an unlimited number of subsidiaries and with a single sign-on and dashboard.
Additional milestones for EcoVadis in the first half of 2016 include achieving a 94 percent satisfaction by customers. Over 73% of suppliers with the EcoVadis Premium subscription now share their EcoVadis scorecard outside the network, which demonstrates the leverage suppliers have with an independent, globally recognized rating.
EcoVadis also launched many core initiatives this year including:
- Expansion of the EcoVadis Official Consulting Partner network which provides suppliers with training and consulting to improve their CSR practices. The network now includes EY in France, DFGE in Germany and Brown-Flynn in the United States.
- The launch of a new audit integration program in collaboration with Joint Audit Cooperation (JAC), an information communications technology (ICT) industry group.
