Microsoft Azure customers worldwide now gain access to EcoVadis Sustainability Ratings to take advantage of the scalability, reliability, and agility of Azure to drive application development and shape business strategies.

Paris, France — October 10, 2022 — EcoVadis, a leading provider of globally trusted business sustainability ratings today announced the availability of the EcoVadis Enterprise Sustainable Value Chain Ratings solution including EcoVadis IQ and the Carbon Action Module (CAM) in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. EcoVadis customers can now take advantage of the productive and trusted Azure cloud platform, with streamlined deployment and management.

EcoVadis solutions are used by over 850 organizations to map risks and engage more than 100,000 of their value chain partners across 175 countries. Backed by powerful technology and a global team of experts, the company’s proven rating methodology and resulting scorecards provide actionable insights on 21 sustainability criteria in four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The detailed scorecards, combined with a rich set of e-learning tools, guide companies on the sustainability improvement and decarbonization journey.

In addition to procurement-supply chain relationships, EcoVadis Ratings and Scorecards serve a growing number of use cases such as sustainable supply chain finance, ‘green loans’ in commercial banking and lending, and private equity/debt. This highlights the value that rated businesses can realize in sharing and promoting globally-recognized and comparable scorecards across its multi-stakeholder network.

“EcoVadis can provide Microsoft Azure customers with a complete and scalable value chain sustainability solution that is backed by our expertise and experience working with more than 850 enterprises,” said Daniel Perry, Global Alliances Director at EcoVadis. “Customers can quickly deploy and scale our innovative and sustainable value chain program, while counting their Azure Marketplace purchase of EcoVadis toward their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitments (MACC).”

EcoVadis’ Microsoft Azure Marketplace listing comes on the heels of the company being picked as the launch partner for Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability and being elected as the #1 Sustainability Partner by Microsoft France.
