EcoVadis’ 2025 Philanthropy Program: Growing Impact Through Education, Partnerships, and Collective Action
As a purpose-driven company, our business model is tailored to foster sustainable supply chains through sustainability ratings and insights. The EcoVadis Philanthropy Program is an additional tool to expand our impact beyond our direct scope of influence, collaborating with our people, customers, partners and our communities.
In 2025, we strengthened this commitment through a renewed program structure built around three core pillars - Campus, Beyond, and Changemakers. Each pillar represents a unique way we create impact with our stakeholders: by empowering education, fostering connections between our customers and global NGO’s, and mobilizing our employees and communities.
With a commitment to dedicating 1% of our net profit to philanthropy, this new framework marks an important milestone in connecting purpose with action - and scaling our impact through collaboration.
In 2025, we deepened our collaboration with academic institutions through Campus, our initiative to inspire and equip the next generation of sustainability and sustainable procurement leaders.
Through the EcoVadis Academy e-learning platform, we've expanded access to sustainability learning for university partners, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world supply chain challenges.
Our partnerships with over 10 worldwide institutions, including ESSEC, GEM, HEG, NYU, RegenSchool and Hong Kong UST, saw more than 350 students engage with our courses, exploring how to build a sustainable and inclusive global economy.
Furthermore, EcoVadians shared their expertise by delivering more than 30 guest lectures to over 1,100 students, actively helping shape the sustainability professionals of tomorrow.
Through Beyond, we collaborate with our customers and global NGOs to tackle critical sustainability challenges, including sustainable procurement, human rights, decarbonization, and nature protection.
Our long-standing partnership with One Tree Planted continues to thrive via the “1 Scorecard Published, 1 Tree Planted” initiative. Together, we've supported reforestation and ecosystem restoration worldwide, planting over 250,000 trees in the past 4 years (including 85,000 in 2025 alone).
Besides direct partnerships, we leverage technology to deepen customer engagement. Our collaboration with the Dift platform allows customers to directly influence our giving: participants in our Annual Satisfaction Survey chose non-profit programs globally for support. This unique initiative resulted in a dedicated donation of €20,000, transforming engagement into shared impact across crucial areas, including sustainability education, Nature, DEI, and decarbonization.
In 2025, we also expanded our partnership portfolio with new collaborations with nonprofit organizations focused on sustainable supply chain management such as North South Initiative, Earthworm, and Sustainable Procurement Workshop.
By combining targeted grants with strategic introductions to our extensive customer network, we are creating a powerful force multiplier. This dual approach accelerates progress toward our shared goal of a truly sustainable and equitable global supply chain.
EcoVadians are at the heart of our impact. The Changemakers pillar celebrates their passion, compassion, and commitment to making a difference locally and globally.
Through the Local Donation Program, we continued to support 12 non-profit organizations in their second year of two-year funding, focusing on climate action, sustainability education, and diversity and inclusion. With a total of €100,000, these deeper partnerships enabled EcoVadians across 3 countries to take part in on-the-ground volunteering missions, connecting directly with the communities they support.
When emergencies struck, our Emergency Fund enabled response. In 2025, EcoVadis donated a total of €30,000 to Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) to support humanitarian relief efforts in countries impacted by wars.
Following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa, we provided further support. This included €5,000 each for Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières), UNICEF, and Direct Relief operations, addressing urgent needs across three Caribbean countries severely affected by the climate disaster.
Finally, we provided support to countries severely hit by extreme weather conditions in Asia that occurred in November this year. Our contribution included a further donation of €5,000 to UNICEF, supporting relief efforts.
Employees also extended their support through Bonusly, converting recognition points into more than €5,400 in donations to charitable causes worldwide.
Through Changemakers Days and local initiatives, more than 680 EcoVadians dedicated their time and skills to community action - turning shared values into measurable impact.
